Departing from your accommodation in Marrakech in the morning, our journey takes you on a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside of the Atlas Mountains.
As we ascend into the mountains, you’ll witness breathtaking panoramic views and pass through traditional Berber villages nestled amidst terraced fields. Your knowledgeable guide will provide insights into local customs and history, enriching your understanding of Berber culture.
When you reach Imlil Valley, located at the foot of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak, you’ll have the opportunity to explore this serene mountainous region. Take a guided walk through the valley, immersing yourself in its tranquil atmosphere and admiring the stunning landscapes of rugged peaks and lush valleys.
During the tour, visit a Berber family to experience traditional hospitality and enjoy a refreshing mint tea. Learn about their way of life, agriculture, and handicrafts, gaining a deeper appreciation for their rich cultural heritage.

DAY TOUR ITINERARY
DAY TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO IMLIL VALLEY
- Depart from Marrakech in the early morning towards the High Atlas Mountains through Tahnaout.
- Valley Ghighaya, Moulay Brahim gorges and Asni; we will be welcomed by a local guide with a glass of mint tea and show us the region; you have the choice to ride mules or to walk through Berber villages between fields of fruit trees walnut, cherries, apples and vegetables.
- After climbing to armed village 1900 m passing by a waterfall, you will stop to have lunch and see the view of the highest peak in North Africa Toubkal 4167 m;
- go back down through the western way overlooking the valley of Ait Mizan with its ancient irrigated terraced fields,
- passing by Achayn and Imlil villages before arriving to the center to end our one-day trek to Imlil and head back to Marrakech.
