OURIKA VALLEY DAY TRIP FROM MARRAKECH

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel or road in Marrakech, your private driver will pick you up at 9:00 a.m. for a rewarding day trip to the Ourika Valley from Marrakech, offering a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and a chance to immerse yourself in nature and the unique Berber culture.

Within half an hour, we’ll leave behind the fertile plain of Marrakech and ascend into the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the lush Ourika Valley. Along the way, we’ll pass through Tnine Ourika, known for its traditional weekly market where Berbers gather to buy essentials such as sugar, tea, vegetable oil, clothes, and electronics, while selling goats, milk, organic vegetables, nuts, and fruits.

We’ll make several short stops for picturesque photo opportunities, given the mesmerizing views. Upon reaching Setti Fatma Village, where the paved road ends, you might opt for a gentle hike amidst walnut tree shadows to discover the waterfalls. Keep an eye out for resident Barbary Macaques before returning to enjoy a delicious lunch by the stream, shaded by walnut trees.

In the late afternoon, we’ll drive back to Marrakech and drop you off at your Riad/hotel, Jemaa el-Fna Square, or any other preferred location within Marrakech.
