Our fastpaced ‘Saharan Dune Express’ offers you a packed two full days road trip to the Saharan south and fleeting insights into the traditional rural culture and lifestyles of local communities in the mountains, oases and Desert region. You experience unique landscapes changing almost by the hour which avoids any question of ‘are we there yet?’

That said, we feel a two-day tour travelling such long distances does not ‘do’ the unique sights and experiences on offer justice, you will find it to be a long and tiring journey, however, we feel obliged to offer the tour due to its popularity. We do understand the push of desire to visit the Moroccan Sahara and to experience a camel ride in the Desert and at Desert Camp despite time restraints.

To improve upon the experience in a limited time frame, we have always opted to visit the Erg Lihoudi dune sets just beyond our hometown of Zagora which are the more impressive. The Desert area at Zagora, generally on offer to visitors, is in our opinion not worthy of a visit and overnight stay.
