DAY 1 Fes - Middle Atlas - Ifrane - Azrou - Merzouga desert

Pick-up at 07 :30 am from your hotel/Riad in Fes by your private driver/guide. We highly recommend starting our journey the earliest the better as you need to be in the Sahara desert of Merzouga before the sun sets. Our first stop after driving through the nearby plain is in the charming town of Ifrane. It is often called the Switzerland version city of Morocco because of its Alpian architecture.

We will have a nice drive through the cedar forest of the Middle Atlas that hosts a colony of Barbary Macaques. After having lunch near Midelt, we will continue on the track crossing the spectacular High-Atlas Mountains, then include a short break for taking pictures in the panoramic palm valley of Ziz before arriving in the majestic sand dunefield of Erg Chebbi.

Go on a camel ride experience while enjoying the breathtaking view of the sunset before getting to the desert camp. Enjoy your dinner, then have a musical session performed by the staff members using drums and castanets. Include the day with a relaxing sleep in your ensuite tent.

DAY 2 Merzouga - Gorges of Todra – Valley of D ades

Early wake up in the morning, we will invite you to climb the majestic sand dune to attend the miraculous view of the sunrise. Have a refreshing breakfast under the sunlight, take a shower, and then resume our journey by exploring the desert area.

We will then head west driving through Erfoud, which is the capital of fossils with its factories that exhibit different shapes that have been excavated in the region. Stretch your legs in the impressive Todra Gorge (Canyon) before arriving to the lush Dades Valley where we will spend our second night.

DAY 3 Rose Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate - kasbah Ait ben Hadou - Marrakech

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad in the Dades Valley, we will continue on the track further west to Marrakech crossing the city of Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa). It’s known for the Atlas Film Studios that has attracted filmmakers from all over the world turning the region into a perfect backdrop for shooting Hollywood Movies including Lawrence of Arabia, Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia, Sahara and many others.

Have a guided walking tour around the dramatic and UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Village, then drive through the spectacular High-Atlas Mountains crossing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m), which is the highest pass in the north of Africa. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
