Tour Plan

DAY1: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley

Pick-up at 07 :30 am from your hotel/Riad in Marrakech by your private driver/guide, you will have an interesting drive through the impressive High-Atlas Mountains. The mountains offer majestic views with the snow-capped peaks in the winter, Berber Villages, unique flora and fauna and much more. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) before arriving in the UNESCO-preserved Kser (Village) Kser of Ait Benhaddou where we will have a walking tour of this unique masterpiece of architecture.

Ait Benhaddou has many Kasbahs (fortresses) with its four towers, high-walls and small windows. The site has been used as a backdrop for shooting numerous films including Sahara, Game of Thrones, Lawrence of Arabia, Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator…Resume our journey further south-east to Dades Valley through the lush Valley of Roses where we might want to include a short break as a way to learn about the local produce…

Day2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, head further south to Merzouga desert visiting the impressive Todra Gorge. This high cliff has been an attraction among mountain climbers and nature-seekers. Stretch your legs while enjoying the breathtaking views before driving to Merzouga desert through Erfoud, known for dates and fossil factories.

Upon arrival in Merzouga desert, you will go on a camel ride experience while enjoying the miraculous view of the sunset. Get to your desert camp where you will have a delicious meal for dinner before spending a relaxing night in your private en-suite tent.

Day3: Merzouga Desert - Nkob - Ouarzazate

Early wake up in the morning, we will invite you to climb the sand dune so that you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunrise. After having breakfat and freshening up, we resume our journey to Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) with its Atlas Film Studios where many national and international films were shot such as Cleopatra, Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia and many others.

Prior to getting to Ouarzazate,we will cross the impressive Anti-Atlas Mountains offering strange geoligical formations. Spend the third night in an authentic but comfortable hotel/Riad.

Day4: Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, we head to Marrakech while including a visit to the 19th Taorirt Kasbah, which is located in the heart of Ouarzazate, then have a tour around the Atlas Film Studios before crossing the Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
