Tour Plan

Day 1 Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Erfoud - Merzouga

Your private driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel or Riad in Fes at 7:30 AM. To make the most of the journey, we strongly recommend an early departure, as reaching the Sahara Desert in Merzouga before sunset is essential.

Our first stop after crossing the nearby plains is the charming town of Ifrane, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Morocco" due to its Alpine-style architecture.

We will then enjoy a scenic drive through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, home to a colony of Barbary Macaques. After a lunch break near Midelt, the journey continues across the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll pause to capture the stunning views of the Ziz Palm Valley before arriving at the magnificent sand dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Experience a camel ride through the dunes while admiring the mesmerizing sunset before reaching the desert camp. After dinner, enjoy a lively musical performance by the camp staff, featuring traditional drums and castanets. End your day with a restful sleep in your private ensuite tent.

Day2: Explore the Desert Area - Midelt

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise from the top of a towering sand dune. After taking in the stunning views, enjoy a refreshing breakfast under the morning sun, followed by a shower before continuing our desert adventure.

Discover the traditional "Khettaras" irrigation system and visit Khamlia village, home to a community of dark-skinned residents whose ancestors were brought from Sub-Saharan Africa as slaves. They are renowned for their spiritual "Gnawa Music," which they perform for visitors.

After lunch, we will begin our journey north, passing through Erfoud, a town famous for its fossil workshops and delicious dates. Along the way, we’ll take short breaks to relax and capture beautiful moments before reaching our hotel or Riad near Midelt, where we will spend our second night.

Day3: Midelt - Middle Atlas - Ifrane - Fes

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel or Riad in Midelt, we will set off towards Fes, traveling through the picturesque and UNESCO-protected Middle Atlas Mountains. We will arrive in Fes in the afternoon, concluding our three-day desert tour with the hope that you leave with unforgettable memories.
